I was trying to have dinner with a friend on Friday night and there was an issue with a child who was quite LOUD to the point where my conversation was a fight with the sounds from this kid. This all happening despite her lesbian parents not doing anything to quiet her. And they were a family that did anger me. Not because of their sexual preference but because they were one of those families that do something I see straight families do at restaurants all the time…LINGER! When you’re done eating…LEAVE! Don’t just sit there not saying anything letting your little pre-schooler scream bloody murder disrupting the rest of us trying to eat out. It’s expensive to eat out. I should at least be allowed to eat my overpriced food with a nice ambiance or at least one that doesn’t assault my ears. This is why I don’t eat out anymore. Restaurateurs just don’t have a clue anymore. They can’t handle the highly entitled families (too lazy to cook) that hog their seats. Bon appetite!
