Leonard Nimoy was like my second mega-intelligent dad. I watched him every Saturday on Star Trek reruns shown on channel 5 in Los Angeles. Then he hosted a show called "In Search Of’ that used to scare and fascinate me. That’s another thing Mr. Nimoy taught me. Out to say non-8 year old words like "fascinating" and "illogical." He made it into his 80’s and even reprised his role later in two pretty good Star Trek movies. He was our last true link to the original Star Trek, both in JJ Abrams’ movies and in reality. While William Shatner sells plane tickets and George Takei has become the funniest man on the Internet, Leonard seemed mystically Star Trek. The best thing you can do to remember him is look at some of the amazing theater he did in his life. Find it with a simple google of his name. I am doing that "live long and prosper" thingy with my hand. If you can’t physically do it, grab some rubberbands…that’s how I learned! Thanks Mr. Nimoy for all you taught me!
